Lauren Conrad: More Television, Please
She may have left The Hills, but that doesn't mean Lauren Conrad is done with television.
The former MTV darling tells me she's determined to get her debut novel, L.A. Candy, adapted for the small screen.
"It’s one of my hopes," said Conrad, who will hold court tonight at her book party at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills. "We're going to start working on that when I get back from my book tour."
She also may be working on another reality show. She refused to hear any pitches after the cameras stopped rolling on her last season of The Hills, but now…
"I actually asked not to hear them," she said. "I said, 'Don't tell me anything.' So problem solved, and I got to enjoy some time away. But my two months is up now."
And she's also not giving up her fashion collection. "I have my line at Kohl's but I'm also working on putting back together my original line," she said. "I want to change it up, working on a new name…"
One thing you're likely not catch her doing? Checking out Kristin Cavallari's debut on The Hills. "I probably won't watch it," Conrad said. "I'm not a huge TV person."

Following in the bare footsteps of Making the Band 4’s Aubrey O’Day, it’s been confirmed by People that Heidi Pratt recently got nekked (give or take a thong and some ‘pretty princess’ bling) and posed in a sexy photo shoot for September’s issue of Playboy. (Insert “overexposed celeb” joke here.)
While her rep declined to comment, one source told the mag that the pictures snapped were “tasteful.”

Miley Cyrus Says She And Nick Jonas Have 'Reconnected'
Miley calls the young Jonas Brother her best friend, but doesn't say whether they are dating.
Almost immediately after news broke that Miley Cyrus had split from boyfriend Justin Gaston, speculation arose that she and her ex, Nick Jonas, have rekindled their romance. And the teens haven't done too much to discourage the rumors: On Thursday, photos of Miley and Nick jet-skiing in Georgia emerged, and next Tuesday, their duet, "Before the Storm," will be available for public consumption on the JoBros' new album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
So, are Miley and Nick back together? Well, when Miley spoke to radio station 107.5 The River in Tennessee, it seemed like the answer was a definite "kind of."
"He's my best friend, and we still hang out all the time, and we've definitely reconnected," she said when asked if it's weird to work with her ex. "And we don't know what's going to happen in the future, but right now we're just kicking it and hanging out as much as we can."
The pair started to ignite rumors when they were seen at lunch together a few months back. Miley further explained that the two have managed to put any old problems aside to focus on the future.
"We both just kind of saw each other again and kind of decided this whole thing was stupid and ... we all were over the separation," she said. "And our families are super happy that we're hanging out again."
When MTV News caught up with Nick Jonas earlier this week, he explained a bit about how Cyrus ended up on their new album.
"I think ['Before the Storm' is] probably one of my favorite songs, because it has a great story to it. It's a duet with Miley, which is great." The song didn't originally include Miley until Nick saw it as the perfect opportunity to record with his ex and to share their tale of young love with their fans. "It's a good thing that happened, and it'll be a good one to play live."

DEPORTES: "HONDURAS 1-0 EL SALVADOR"
Ayer en la noche, Honduras disputó un encuentro eliminatorio para el mundial Sudafrica 2010 ante El Salvador. El partido tuvo lugar en el estadio Olimpico de San Pedro de Sula, donde la afición catracha asistió para apoyar a su selección. Unos cuantos Salvadoreños también hicieron presencia al partido.
Los 3 puntos se quedaron en casa, luego que Carlos Pavón anotara el unico tanto en el partido. Se vió muy poco de ambas selecciones, aunque los cuscatlecos tuvieron la oportunidad de igualar el marcador. Ahora, El Salvador se encuentra quinto en la tabla de posiciones, mientras que Honduras logró ascender al tercer lugar. El Salvador, quien rescientemente derrotó a Mexico, ahora se encuentra fuera de la clasificación del mundial.
El profe, Carlos de los Cobos, no pudo ocultar su tristeza ante la derrota, puesto que su selección dió lo mejor de si en la cancha.Todavía queda la mitad de la hexagonal final, pero ya se puede ver un avanze de los posibles candidatos para asistir a Sudafrica 2010.

DEPORTES: "Encuentro entre Honduras - El Salvador"
Un gran encuentro futbolistico esta listo para disputarse el proximo Miercoles 10 de Junio en Centro America. Ambos equipos necesitan los 3 puntos, uno para mantener su posicion y otro para escalar en la tabla de posiciones. El Salvador visita a la seleccion nacional de Honduras en el olimpico de San Pedro Sula. Los catrachos, quienes recientemente perdieron 2-1 ante la seleccion de Estado Unidos, necesitan desesperadamente conseguir esos 3 puntos; mientras que la seleccion de El Salvador, dirigida por el mexicano Carlos de los Cobos, les basta con el empate gracias a la victoria obtenida ante la seleccion Mexicana el pasado Sabado 6 de Junio.
Carlos de lo Cobos, D.T. de la seleccion Salvadoreña, anunció esta mañana que: "posiblemente haya cambios en la alineación inicial ante Honduras", ya que no podrá contar con la participación de Rodolfo Zelaya, quien luego de un muy buen partido, fue sancionado tras haber acumulado su segunda tarjeta amarilla en las eliminatorias.
Actualmente, la seleccion Salvadoreña ocupa el tercer puesto de la tabla de posiciones, mientras que la seleccion catracha esta en la cuarta posicion de la clasificación. De ganar mañana, los hondureños escalarian posiciones mientras que la Seleccion cuscatleca desciende.
Ambos equipos necesitan la victoria, pero Honduras tiene la ventaja de jugar en casa. Mañana concluye la primera vuelta de las eliminatorias de la concacaf, dejando asi un poco claro quienes pueden ser los posibles candidatos para asistir al mundial de Sudafrica 2010.

One doesn't exactly expect a sixteen- year-old Disney Channel star to be a cold-eyed realist. But, according to Selena Gomez, that's exactly what she is. Sitting cross-legged on a pastel couch in the San Juan, Puerto Rico, hotel room that has served as her home for the past seven weeks—she's been shooting a made-for-TV movie based on her popular series, Wizards of Waverly Place—the actress attempts to elucidate her only semi-bubbly outlook on life. "I actually get told that I'm a very dark person," she insists. "I like to dream, but I also like to be realistic; sometimes, when something is so nice and sweet, I just crush it. I don't mean to, but I don't want to be let down."
The irony, of course, is that so much of Selena's life is kind of magical. It's not just the wand she wields for her work on Wizards; it's that the odds of a young Mexican-American girl from Grand Prairie, Texas, ending up with her own hit television show are so vanishingly small. She started working at the age of seven, when she convinced her mother, a sometime community theater actress, to take her to an open call for Barney & Friends and subsequently booked her very first job. ("It involved a lot of smiling," Selena says of the gig. "Singing, dance routines—nothing that's going to help me win an Oscar one day.") And this June, the Disney Channel will premiere Princess Protection Program, a feature film in which she stars with her "best friend in real life" Demi Lovato. (The girls bonded while working opposite the friendly purple dinosaur, were discovered by Disney just a few years apart, and have been inseparable ever since. They even lived in the same loft—with their moms—in downtown Los Angeles when they first moved west.) "I'll be honest, I do have to pinch myself occasionally," Selena admits. "I still can't believe that everything the two of us have wanted since we were seven is finally coming true."

"There have been many reports that surfaced over the weekend regarding Spencer and Heidi Pratt," their rep said in a statement released this afternoon. "Many of these reports are false and inaccurate, including any reports of 'torture' on the show."
The rep confirmed that Heidi had been taken to a hospital on Saturday "because she was not feeling well. She has been released...and is doing well." There's still no official word on exactly what was ailing her.
The newlyweds remain in Costa Rica. "She's out, but she has to go back for more tests and treatments," a source told me.
NBC has yet to comment on allegations that the show's producers had locked Heidi away for three days without food or water before she was rushed to a local hospital..
While Spencer's sister, Stephanie, claims the couple was horrifically mistreated (she was the one who initially tweeted the torture allegation), a show insider says the accusations are grossly incorrect...
No surprise, but all the publicity whores everyone involved says watch tonight's episode of the rumble in the jungle reality show to find out what really happened.
Another source said the Pratts have threatened a lawsuit against NBC and the producers with the network already prepared to countersue.
"It was reported the Pratts have fired their legal counsel," the couple's rep also said. "This is inaccurate."
